“It is now time to unveil the Ioh-Maera album cover artwork, executed by the skilled hand of Costin Chioreanu. The final printed version incorporates a slipcase and additional metallic colouring to the design.
The circulatory receives the influences of the supernal Sun above and ancestral wisdom below, and through their interplay, the Key will ‘awaken’… The alchemical imagery found its way to Ioh-Maera via sudden and unexpected visions, perhaps in part foreshadowing Arktau Eos’ recent encounters with several practitioners of the spagyric art. You know who you are – blessings!
Ioh-Maera consists of five songs: Unbinding Kaamos, Noxfaros, Sunken Luminaries, Ioh-Maera, and Otherstone Refraction.
Arktau Eos are honoured to have Barry Hale, our esteemed friend and brother residing under the southern skies, reciting an opening invocation in the angelic language on Unbinding Kaamos.
Ioh-Maera will be released in Bucharest, Romania on 20 October 2012; there will be a special Arktau Eos performance and an art exhibition related to the concept of the album. Welcome! Event info here: https://www.facebook.com/events/409036589131756/ ”
