From now on, the campaign of raising funds for the victims of Colectiv on bandcamp, entitled “The Quest For A Morning Star” is over. On December 5 I will announce the final sum of money which was gathered through this campaign and around December 7 the names of the victims who received the money. I would like to thank you all for donations, amazing messages from all over the world and support. The digital compilation will remain on bandcamp and available just for 1 euro, in order to keep it online forever, as the free download credits are limited.
BUT!!!!!!!!!! I have some great news about a new phase of this project! There is a really die-hard guy in Italy who really shocked me with his killer offer. This gentleman is no one else than the owner of Avantgarde Music, a respected 21 years old label, with a mind blowing portfolio of bands like KATATONIA, OPHTALAMIA, MAYHEM, ABIGOR,UNHOLY and many more.
So, what is the big news?! Well, I am super happy to announce that Avantgarde Music will release “The Quest For A Morning Star” as a deluxe A5 digipack with 7 booklet pages, including liner notes and various illustrations. And nope, I did not change suddenly my mind and perspective about raising funds and turn it into a commercial bullshit. Actually, this de luxe edition is limited just to 300 copies, dedicated to collectors who want to contribute as well to my raising founds for the Colectiv victims. How? Simply, all profit of this release will be donated to these victims, through “Mereu Aproape” a respected foundation from Romania which is taking care of the Colectiv matter as well, in order to keep everything transparent.
