This concept and this poster design are based on a desire I have lately, to remind people, including myself, that reality is nothing but a result of our perception filtering what our senses are capturing. Perception is influenced by the way we want to filter everything, so in the end we might consider reality what we want to consider, in the way we want to consider. I will not go further into the analysis of reality being nothing but a half-conscious personal creation, but I will go further into the field of the way we influence our own perception. The perception might be influenced by darkness , and then we see only the empty part of the glass, or it might be influenced by light, and then we might see the positive side of things. I observed an infernal increase of the tendency of filtering everything through a negative perspective. I see lots of people who are not happy anymore with anything, and even good things are happen, maybe way more than in the past, they still remain stuck and go deeper that black hole where the entire life and universe is nothing but a crap and happiness is just an old chimera which cannot be achieved anymore, under any form. I personally had enough of this and I am fighting as much as I can with myself to get free of this mud, as in the end it not helps anyone, anywhere, under any kind of form. Now about the image – it is a collage of some paintings and black ink illustrations which shows my perspective over the Tarot Card Nr.19 – which is the Sun. And I got into this idea only because the event is happening on that date…19, otherwise I would never thought about this and this whole story would never existed. The white horse represents strength and purity of spirit. I kept from the original the four elements, under the form of trees. The logos of these 2 bands become the substitute for for the original visual element of children. This is it. A message in a bottle. Open your eyes and you will see there is more than darkness, you are surrounded by a ocean full of bottles holding messages. The Sun represents the dawn that follows the darkest night. What is really interesting is that in Tarot cards, the following one is The Judgement… For who is around…see you on this magic 19th of January in Bucharest. Nobody knows when we will show ourselves again.
